PTA

Teachers and parents are partners in the education, welfare and development of the children. The staff at Kildwick School value the support and encouragement of parents for their children's endeavours in school and are committed to developing close, friendly links between home and school. We feel that it is vitally important for our pupils to know that parents and teachers share the same aspirations for them. Parents are informed of what is happening in school by means of regular newsletters which are sent home with pupils.

All parents and staff are automatically members of the P.T.A. The association arranges fund-raising and social occasions as well as providing a forum for discussion on ways to support the life of school.  An Annual General Meeting, to which all parents are invited, is held in September. The committee are keen to hear from any parents who feel that they can help in any way. We would particularly welcome  members from parents whose children are new to our school.
