Our Eco Warriors attended a Pupil Climate Change event at Harlow Carr along with other schools from North Yorkshire. The day consisted of workshops led by Craven Development Education Centre, The Royal Horticultural Society and Power Down Pete from the council's energy team. The children learnt about air miles of food and about the packaging food is wrapped in. They each had a turn on an energy bike that showed them how many minutes they would need to cycle to power their electrical appliances at home. They also learnt how to save energy at home.
